I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Joey's Team - Bald is Beautiful

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Joey's Team - Bald is Beautiful

Shaun and I are fortunate to call Mike and Patrice Schroeder and Chuck and Bridget Chamness friends. Both of these couples have faced the challenge of having a son diagnosed with cancer. While Joey Chamness has won his battle against cancer (Joey has been cancer free for six years), Michael Schroeder lost his courageous battle at the age of 11.
Many of my friends have had their heads shaved for this worthy cause, and I have decided to join the “fun” to help raise money for childhood cancer research. Please help support important childhood cancer research by making a donation to St. Baldrick’s. I will let you rub the stubble (if it ever grows back), and you can check out the scars from elbows, water skis and lunch boxes that are currently hidden. Just click on the "MAKE A DONATION" button at the top of this page.
Thank you for your consideration. By the way, this is also a great party, and I’d love for you to be there if you can: March 11, 2011; 6:30-9:30 p.m., Indianapolis Northside Knights of Columbus, 2100 East 71st Street. If you come to the party, bring your sunglasses!! The lights will most certainly shine brighter with the reflection coming off my shiny-scarred baldhead.
Click "Make a donation" over to the left under the photo or on "Donation Now" at the top of the page to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
