I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I can't believe that this will be my ninth year shaving my head. Over the last eight years I've raised more than $27,000 to fight childhood cancer. A lot of you that visit this page have done so before and have supported me in the past. Some of you have supported me every year, and for that I'm extremely grateful. I know there are a lot of charities that need our support. My goal is to keep shaving until I get to 10 bald years; I just need your support for this year and next.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

If you are an Oracle employee Oracle will match your contribution within the matching policy/program. Last year Oracle matched $505 of donations in my name! Awesome.

A million thanks for your support.

In memory of Hunter Nelson.

Dummie's guide to green Mohawk for St. Baldrick's

1. March of the previous year, start growing your hair, if you're like me you have none.
2. Wait a year
3. Shave head into a Mohawk
4. Bleach your hair (leave on your head 30 minutes to an hour depending on darkness)
5. Place dye on your hair, trying not to get any on the newly shaved sides of your head.
6. Process under dryer for 40 minutes
7. Rinse
8. Repeat steps 5 -7
9. Shape hair into a Mohawk
10. Shave at a St. Baldrick's event near you.
11. You'll now have a green stripe down your head where your Mohawk used to be.
12. Bleach your stripe (leave on your scalp for 15 - 30 minutes)
13. Rinse
