I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Bald Bros

Hi Everyone,
EVENT IS LESS THAN 2 DAYS AWAY - NEED YOUR HELP TO MEET MY GOAL, THANKS!!! Each year, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the US and Canada. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, founded in 2000 raises money through the world’s largest fundraising event for childhood cancer research. My company, NetApp has been involved in the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for the past 5 years. To-date, NetApp volunteers have raised nearly $900,000 by shaving their head as a sign of solidarity and compassion for young children that are fighting this deadly disease. Last year, St. Baldrick’s raised over $22 million and funded more in childhood cancer research than any organization except the U.S. Government. NetApp has been associated with St. Baldrick’s since 2007. In 2010, NetApp ranked #1 amongst fundraising teams globally for St. Baldrick’s. This year, we will sponsor events in 10 cities worldwide.

This will be my first year participating in a fund raising event for St. Baldrick’s. Along with fellow NetApp colleagues, I will shave my head to support this important cause. To date, 144,000 volunteers have shaved their head at over 2,400 events in 50 states and 28 countries.

I'm blessed to have healthy children but if shaving my head can help in any way for those parents with kids with cancer I'm up for it!

The event is March 16th, on the 17th birthday of my daughter Coco!

I have set a personal goal of $2,000.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. .

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
