I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Greeks of UNM

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Greeks of UNM

My grandfather died of cancer while I was in the 7th grade. I will always remember how sick the chemo made him and how he was confined to being in the house instead of out doing what he loved. (This consisted of driving his dozer on the edge of mountains, driving too fast, and viewing stop signs like yield signs.) =)

When I heard about St. Baldrick's it reminded me of my grandpa: I can't imagine a child going through what he did. SO I am shaving my head for all of the children fighting cancer and donating my hair, in hope that my small sacrifice may invoke compassion and sacrifice in others! The lives of each child may be affected by those who donate their time, talent, or treasure to the cause of fighting childhood cancer. We all have something to give! So please reach out in some way and impact the lives of these children!!
