I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Team QuiBids
Greetings! I sincerely hope that all of you are doing well. To give you a brief update on my life, I
graduated from OU in May. After graduation I traveled Europe with my dear friend Seth Gustafson, I
encourage you to look at the pictures on Facebook if you have not already done so. I am now working as
a vendor analyst for QuiBids.com, the world’s largest entertainment auction website. My life is very
good and I am thankful very day for the blessing that have been bestowed upon me.
I am participating in St. Baldrick’s day again this year. St. Baldrick’s is a nonprofit organization
that specializes in childhood cancer research. St. Baldrick’s gathers brave volunteers that are willing to
shave their heads in order to raise money for their foundation. I will be shaving my head very soon and
encourage you to donate.
Cancer is a very prevalent and destructive force in our society. We have all been affected
by cancer in some way or another. I am shaving my head to honor my mother whom gracefully and
courageously battled breast cancer in 2005. My mother is a very important person in my life and it
is very easy to attribute my success as a human being to her loving guidance. While dealing with the
hardships of cancer treatment she was able to maintain her work load and keep the family together.
It breaks my heart knowing that there are children that have lost their mothers to cancer and
will not receive the same loving influence that I have been so lucky to receive in my life. It make me
equally sad knowing the mothers have lost children to cancer and their mother will not get to see their
precious babies leave their fingerprints on this earth. I am shaving for the children without mothers and
the mother without their babies.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
