"Hey Baldy!" Yeah, that's what I am looking forward to hearing. In less than one week, I will be bald. Look at my 'before' photo. I have a lot of hair. It's not nice easy hair, but big, "remember the 80s" hair. I am ready to lose it all. Why? Because when I see a little girl or boy with no hair because of chemotherapy, my heart sinks. Mine will grow back, but they are living with the baldness, but moreso, the pain of cancer. Help us out! This is your chance to stand up and do something positive for these young people. This is your chance to give them a life. You don't have to shave your head. You can make an amazing difference through a monetary donation. As you are well aware, everything costs money and cancer research is no different. Bottom line—we need your help!
You get three things out of your donation. First, you get to see me bald as a cue ball. That's right...bald. Second, remember, this is a tax-deductible donation to a charity. Third, and certainly most important, the next time you see someone with that scarf covering his or her bald head, instead letting your heart sink in complacence, you can know in your heart that you did something to make a difference—you rose to the challenge! Thank you and God Bless!
