I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: We're Hair For You

5/28/11 Wow! What an absolutely marvelous event. Thank you, Max, and everyone else at Crosstown Pub who ran this event and helped make me and my family feel welcome. We actually did it! You can see more pics in the photo gallery. We are short of our goal, but just because we've already shaved our heads, doesn't mean the donations have to stop. Please help! There are so many people out there that are affected by this terrible disease and every penny counts in the search for a cure. Thank you for this wonderful experience. Pre-5/7/11 There are not many things in life that I have the power to do. So when I think about what I can do to make a difference, it usually involves me personally doing something. This is it. Even if I don't get the most donations, even if my team doesn't get the most donations, I will still know that I tried. And when my head is shaved and people ask me why, I will tell them; I shaved my head to help children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! What can you do today to make a difference in a child's life? Please make a donation and you will find out. Thank you.
