You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment. My children are grown and I thank God that my wife and I never had to face the challenges and decisions required by parents of children who suffer from these types of childhood deseases. Tough to image what parents go through let alone the suffering of the child. By partnering with St. Baldricks you and I have a chance aid the search for solutions and cures to avoid these types of heart wrenching situations. We strongly encourage all users to submit a before and after photo, so that donors and fellow participants can easily recognize and relate to one another.
