I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Swiss Re Employees

Dear Friends, Over the years, my hair has been the center of many of your jokes - well now is your chance to put your money where your mouth is! On Wednesday March 16th, I will be shaving my head to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization focused on children’s cancer research. So this is your chance to see me bald and be a part of a great cause! The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. Government. It has become the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising program for this cause, with over a hundred thousand "shavees" who have participated to date. I learned about this great cause over the past several years from my colleagues in the insurance industry. Alumni shavees such as Steve Kelner (Swiss Re), Brian Gray (Swiss Re), Todd Hess (Swiss Re), Scott Belden (Travelers), Mike McGavick (XL), and others have all served as inspiration for me to participate this year. I have set an ambitious donation goal of $10,000 and am hoping for all of your support to help children who suffer, fight and sacrifice every day in the battle against cancer Details: - Event Date: Wednesday March 16th - Shaving Location (for those who want to see it live): Opus 465, Armonk NY, 12PM (Guinness included) - Donation Options: Online (http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/participantid/419056) or Phone (888-899-BALD) - Shavee ID: 419056 - Donation Goal: $10,000 I sincerely thank all of you in advance for supporting children's cancer research. Best regards Steve Arora
