You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
As many of you know my oldest grandson, Jamie, was diagnosed with a synovial sarcoma at the age of 14. Thanks to the speedy response by a wonderful team of doctors it is now five years later and at 19 Jamie is currently cancer free and is living a happy and healthy life as a young adult.
In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. With your help and support I am hoping to assist another child and family in achieving the positive outcome Jamie was able to have. Please make a donation on behalf of my grandson to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.
