I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NetApp Global Team

I'm not a hero. I'm someone who had cancer, and am fortunate enough to find myself in my fourth year of remission. I'd love to donate my hair for a wig, but, let's be honest--a) it's pretty short and b) well, I have not so nice hair...so, I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Do it for a loved one, friend or family, who is part of the club of people who have/had cancer--it's a club I'd like to see be dissolved due to lack of members. I'd appreciate your help in this, so, please, click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
