I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: DOWNEY FIREMEN

Hi Everybody, My fire department (Downey Fire) is hosting our second St. Baldrick's event. What is St. Baldrick's? I'm glad you asked! This is a childhood cancer fund raising event that takes place on our around St. Patrick's Day. During the event the participants have there heads shaved to demonstrate solidarity with the cancer patients who typically lose their hair during their treatment. I am asking for your support in fighting the number one cause of childhood deaths in the U.S. by logging on to my webpage and making a donation. I have been promised that if I achieve my fund raising goal then if/when my hair grows back in it will no longer be grey! Something to do with leprechauns! I will send out an after picture to all who donate. So how much is a good belly laugh worth to you? We will be holding our event on Sunday March 16th between 10:00 and 2:00 at Downey Fire Station #1, 12222 Paramount, Downey, Ca., 90241. There will be fire engines, food, fun and raffles, come on by if you can!
