I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: E Crew Station 2

Family/Friends/Co-workers On Friday March 12, 2010, I am shaving my head, along with other members from the O.W.L Fire Department at Station 2 in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. If you decide not to make a donation, please at least learn more about this great charity at www.stbaldricks.org. The O.W.L Fire Department invites all current and past members, and their friends, to join us for the 2010 St. Baldrick's Event. The now annual party will be held on Friday, March 12th, at Fire Station 2's Botts Fire Hall. The fun begins at 6:01pm with the head shaving starting before 8pm. As with past St. Baldrick's parties, there will be plenty of food and frosty beverages. The St. Baldrick's party also includes a silent auction For more information from the O.W.L. fire department, visit http://www1.owlvfd.org/Event_View.aspx?id=24 Event Location: Station 2 1306 F Street Woodbridge, VA 22191 703.491.5173 To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
