My name is Dave Hommes. My wife Mary works at Ingalls Hospital in the Cancer Care Center. After hearing many stories over the years regarding adults in remission and other positive stories, we've decided to do what we can to help in the fight against cancers that plague children. I lost my father, Don Hommes to cancer (kidney), as well as my 17 year old niece Cathy O' Donnell (osteosarcoma). We have two sons, and are truly blessed that they have not been put in such a terrible situation. This is our way of giving back, and helping to put an end to such a horrible disease.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
