As most of you know I was diagnosed January 3, 2007 with osteosarcoma. During my chemotherapy at the Children's Cancer Center at Greenville Memorial Hospital I was fortunate enough to get to meet several wonderful nurses and doctor's and most importantly all of the incredible children literally fighting for their lives against the likes of cancer (the leading cause of childhood deaths) and blood disorders. Also during my treatment I experienced an overwhelming outpouring of prayers and support from family, friends and even complete strangers. There is no doubt in my mind that without such great people supporting me the outcome of my personal fight with cancer would have been much different. Unfortunately, many of the children being treated don't have such a wealth of support. For this reason I humbly ask that you join me in my efforts to support all of the children who so bravely fight cancer everyday.
