I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I like the St. Baldrick's event because: 1. I'd like to help with a cure for cancer. 2. I've known more than a fair number of kids and others who have died from cancer, or suffered from it. The two kids I have honored on my page were parishioners at my last parish who passed away during, or shortly after, my time there. And, although he wasn't a child, obviously, I am honoring my dad's courageous battle with cancer that took his life almost three years ago now. We miss him EVERY day! 3. I keep my hair pretty short anyway; so it would be great if I could help people while I do that. 4. St. Baldrick's doesn't fund embryonic stem cell research projects. (See http://www.stbaldricks.org/about-us/faq/) So won't you help me help some people? Please make a donation today! Father Pat

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
