I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Big Kid's Fighting for our Small Hero's

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment. In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. I am also shaving my head in recognition of two very wonderful people that lost the battle to cancer. First, one of my best friend's wife, Rita, who lost the battle to cancer when her children were very young. So these two beautiful children grew up without their loving mother. The other is my Dad, who lost the battle 9 years ago. My Dad was my inspiration in life; he was a great father and friend. I watched as the cancer slowly destroyed this great man. I believe raising the critical funds needed for cancer research is a great cause. Anything we can do to help so other children never have to go through what my Dad and Rita went through, or what their children went though.
