I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Nathan H

On Friday, March 12th, I am shaving my head in solidarity to help in the fight against childhood cancers! Each year, 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada. Research saves lives. The St. Baldrick's Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government, more than $12 million in 2009 alone! My friend Nathan Hoy was in Cub Scouts with me until March of 2007 when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemi. Throughout all treatments Nathan always has a smile even during the hard times and will not allow cancer to destroy him. During the steroid treatments which are once a month, Nathan's appetite is huge. His smile is infectious Not only will I get my shaved but my dad says if I raise $500.00, he will shave his head too. Lets do it DAD!!!!!!!!!
