I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
Hair today....gone May 2nd.
For the 5th year in a row, I will have my head shaved to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. St. Baldrick's is very special to me because it allows me to do something that can help find a cure for childhood cancers. I had cancer when I was three years old and I have made it my long term goal to help researchers find a cure. Kids have the ability to make great things happen when they put their minds to it.
Since 2006, with the help and generosity of my wonderful family and friends, I have raised nearly $10,000 for St. Baldrick's. This year, my goal is to raise another $2,000.
Please join me and my family on May 2nd at Portland's St. Baldrick's Day celebration. My head will be shaved and we will celebrate my good health (I have been cancer free for nine years) while raising money for childhood cancer research.
Thanks for your support!
