I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: North Plainfield Fire Fighters

You heard it right--I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for child hood cancer research! Now don't you thik that is pretty radical for a grandmother of ten? I decided to participate in honor of my sister-in-law, Trish Buczek, who is in the battle of her life right now against that big bully, CANCER. Even in the midst of her own personal battle, Trish expressed to me that she is concerned about the fact that there is not nearly enough funding for research in the area of childhood cancer. Did you know that in the US, one child is diagnosed with cancer every 3 1/2 minutes and more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease? Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. Don't let another 3 1/2 minutes go by. Right this minute, click on"Make a Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Remember: No donation is too small and no donation is too large. Just help in any way that you can. Thank you for your support!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
