I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: XU Muskies

Hello Everyone! I am shaving my head (ah!!) in solidarity of children with cancer. I personally feel very drawn to this cause and have worked extremely hard over the past few months to organize several fundraising events for St. Baldrick's at Xavier University here in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am blessed to not have struggled with cancer, but to those who have, had, and are- I am doing this for you (if you know a child that is currently battling cancer or in remission, I would love to honor them on this webpage, just let me know). I want to raise money for children's cancer research all the while attaining a greater understanding of daily life without hair in a world that often encourages vanity in lieu of personal growth. I am challenging myself in the name of others, please challenge yourself, too, and donate to my cause or any other cause in your area. Be it time or money, kind actions are never wasted. "Goodness is the only investment that never fails." - Henry David Thoreau Thank you to all who have chosen to donate to this wonderful cause! Kristen

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
