I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello, my name is Erik Goldsberry, and I am honored to coordinate the Juneau Career Fire Fighters Association, Local 4303's effort to take on this worthy cause. Last time we held a shaving, we helped pull down $60,000 for childrens cancer research. We want to work hard again for these kids, because Professional Firefighters and Medics all know what its about to see a child reaching out for help. Most of our staff are parents and have first hand knowledge of what it is to raise a child. All of us have answered the call to care for others in their time of desparate, critical time of need. And St. Baldricks is a way we can reach beyond the fire truck and ambulance to help children that are in desparate need, from time of diagnosis to a cure. Please take the time to consider the needs of these innocent, wonderful children! Thank you for your support of St. Baldricks Foundation. Come out and help us on the 15th of April! Theres more to that date than paying your taxes!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
