I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Michael Patrick Shonafelt and Im ten years of age. I am perfectly healthy and live a cancer-free life. Not all children can say that. Many children suffer from childhood cancer and thankfully I am not one of them. It troubles me greatly to know that there are many children my age who have to endure such hardships. It also troubles me to know that I cannot cure them. But that doesnt mean I cant play a part. Through St. Baldricks Foundation I believe I can support the efforts of those who are trying to find the answer of the riddle that is cancer. While I am only ten years of age, anyone can make a difference. I hope to inspire other children to shave their heads or simply to be grateful for what they have. With your help, I believe that we can turn the tides against cancer. Any amount you wish to donate will be much appreciated. Thank You and God Bless, Michael Patrick Shonafelt

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
