I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I have never had cancer but some of my relatives have. I have seen the struggle of a cancer patient. At my school there was a boy named Mark Staley, who at a really young age was diagnosed with leukemia. He kept his spirits high. He went into remission 3 times and eventually after 8 years of battling his cancer he died. He is well known in our community because while he was fighting his cancer he started the Mark Staley Toy Drive. Every year during Christmas he holds a fundraiser to get toys for kids in the hospital so that every child in the hospital has a gift on Christmas morning. As years past more and more toys were given to children in hospitals thanks to Mark and more then 20,000 toys were donated last year thanks to his toy drive. Mark has been an inspiration to me proving that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
