I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cancer Fighting Machine

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Cancer Fighting Machine

I know what it is like to lose my hair to chemotherapy. But, I do not know what it is like to be a child losing his/her hair to chemo. Nor, do I know what it is like to be a parent of a child going through chemo. Being bald by choice is nothing compared to what these parents and children go through. I love that I can raise money by agreeing to be bald for a short time. I believe in this organization's goals. And, I believe in the power of a crowd of bald people! I have chosen to honor Spencer S. for my head shaving. Spencer is one of my teammates on Cancer Fighting Machine. He was diagnosed with ALL at the age of four. He is 9 years old today and has been off treatment for over a year! In the years since his diagnosis, Spencer has not only raised thousands of dollars (and awareness) for cancer research, he is also a really cool kid!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
