I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am shaving my head, in honor of my son Patrick, who at the age of 15 was diagnosed w/ Stage IV aveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. After several surgeries, including one to remove an eggplant sized tumor, after 42 wks of chemotherapy, and 6 weeks of radiation, he is celebrating being one year cancer-free and is just the greatest young man you would ever want to meet! Unfortunately, several of our young friends have not been so lucky, and it is too sad. Give til it hurts; let's find the cures. Yes, I am worried about what color my roots will be on March 15th, but really it's just hair...This is a picture of our whole family-I'm the girl, Patrick is the kid in the ski cap, those are his three wonderful, albeit obnoxious brothers, and of courrse, Mike the dad. p.s.-for those of you requesting info on the betting pool to guess my natural root color, come see me in person-haha....
