I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am not actually shaving my head, like all these other brave souls. However I have been challenged to raise $1000.00. When I reach my goal I will DOUBLE DONATE. My pony tail will be donated to Locks of Love. I will have 14-16 inches cut off. This is going to be hard enough for me. I prize my hair and the little fact that I have not had short hair since I was in the 5th grade. That was MANY MANY MANY years ago. I want to wish everyone the best of luck to all who are supporting and participating. And a BIG THANKS to everyone involved and together we will conquer childhood cancer. I truly believe in the cause. Those of you who know me know the story and those who dont a brief note; I lost my 3 month old to Rhabdoid on July 27, 2006. I am doing this in honor of him and to show my support for my 8 year old, CJ. Who has mentioned to me that he will do this every year until he is reunited with Sammy.
