I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Olympic Heights Baseball

St. Baldrick's is about shaving your head in solidarity of children who lose their hair during cancer treatment and raising funds for research. What began in 1999 as a casual conversation and a bet between friends, has exploded into the world's biggest volunteer-driven fundraising program for childhood cancer! During the St. Baldrick's Day Celebration on March 16th, I will have my head shaved at Olympic Heights High School in support of the thousands of kids that are fighting cancer. As a child, I lost two friends to Leukemia and I recently lost my mother-in-law following an 11 year battle with breast cancer. I know many others, young and old, who are battling this horrible disease. Research money is desperately needed to bring cancer to it's knees and you can help. Myself and 18 members of the 2007 Olympic Heights High School Varsity Baseball Team are trying to raise a combined $5,000.00. As of Sunday afternoon, March 11th we are at $2,975.00. How much would you donate to see our team with shaved heads bald to help find cures for childhood cancers? A tax deductible donation of any amount for this wonderful cause is greatly appreciated! Remember, it's for the kids. Thank you to all of you that have given thus far. If you haven't, please come and join the fun! Stop by the Olympic Heights gym if you are near Boca Raton this Friday morning around 9:30 AM!! I promise you it will be fun!! See you on the bald side!! Kit
