I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Charlie's Angels

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Charlie's Angels

I teach piano lessons to almost 20 students that are 5-17+. Imagining any one of those kids with cancer absolutely breaks my heart. Even though I didn't know Charlie personally, I mourn for him, for his family, and for other families who have had to deal with similar experiences. Cancer isn't a burden that a child or anyone else should have to bear. Childhood cancer isnt something that anyone wants to think about. It seems like the further away it is from us, the more we can remove ourselves from the subject and pretend that it isnt something that can affect us. Sadly, many of us now know someone personally who has had to battle cancer, and we can no longer ignore what is now all around us.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
