I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Tipperary Hill

On March 9th, I will be a "shavee" in the St. Baldrick's Day fundraiser to to help fight cancer. Several of my family members and I will be shaving our head in honor of my cousin Colin Gooley, who at eight years old was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Colin's personal fight against cancer was made possible by the support of people like you, whose generous donations helped cover huge medical bills and several prosthetic legs as he grew. It was an uphill battle for him, but I am proud to say Colin has been cancer free for five years. Colin's courage and determination at such a young age has been an amazing inspiration. I'm hoping my efforts will help other children succeed with their fight against cancer. The event will be held at Kitty Hoyne's Irish Pub and Restaurant, located in Armory Square in Syracuse. Colin will be the honorary barber to shave my head if anyone would like to see me lose my locks.
