I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TeamCorner

It's almost that time of year again when we are all Irish for a day to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It's a time when we have lots of fun and celebrate life with friends, family and random people who are doing the same thing. This year, before that great celebration, on March 9th at Kitty Hoynes, we have a chance to bring joy to some Children who might not have the chance to celebrate. This day is St. Baldrick's Day, a day for all of us to help out with Children's Cancer Research. Last year the group at Kitty Hoynes rose over $200,000 for this great cause and this year we are looking for even more. A couple hundred of us men, women and children will shave our heads for Children's Cancer, and I'm asking you for your support and donations. St. Baldrick's research grants help fill crucial funding gaps at medical institutions where children are treated for cancer, ensuring the finest care for every child. Since the first event in 2000, St. Baldrick's volunteers have raised over $34 million for life-saving research and 2008 promises even more exciting progress. For those of you, who hate my hair and want to see it gone, dig deep into your pockets for the pleasure of seeing a barber's electric sheers cut through the hair that gives me strength;). If you love my wavy locks and don't want to see them go, please donate for the kids, it's a great cause. Either way, try to make it to Kitty Hoynes from 11 ' whenever because all tips will be donated to this great cause.
