I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Thanks for thinking about donating to the St. Baldrick's Foundation! Or, if you're just stopping by, thanks for taking a look and please consider donating to this wonderful cause! I've had many people ask me why I want to shave my head. My answer: Why not? I lost two grandparents to cancer, am the daughter and niece of cancer survivors, and know several beautiful children who have had to battle this horrible illness. Hair grows back, so why not shave it to raise money? Maybe one day because of foundations like St. Baldrick's children will no longer have to be told that they won't grow up to have kids of their own, get married, or even just enjoy being children. So even if you think I'll look incredibly goofy when I shave my head (because let's face it, I will) just know that I do it in honor of relatives, friends, and brave children that I don't even know who have had to hear, "You have cancer." Thank you so much for donating!!
