I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Sriraghavans

A year ago, my daughter came home talking about cancer. Her friend's dad was diagnosed with Leukemia. Now I’m thrilled to share a major milestone: Chris has officially reached Day 100 post-treatment!

Day 100 is a monumental step toward long-term recovery. It’s a moment to breathe and celebrate. But as we mark this milestone, we know that while today is Day 100 for Chris, for another family today is Day 1 and for many others, the  first day after hasn't even come yet.

To honor that fight for every family still ahead of or in the middle of this battle, I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Leukemia treatments have come extraordinarily far. Decades ago, a childhood leukemia diagnosis was nearly hopeless; today, thanks to breakthroughs in research and immunotherapy, survival odds are high. Research is the reason Day 100 exists for so many families.

But research requires funding and the cure is still unknown. We need better treatments, fewer long-term side effects, and cures for the kids whose Day 1 is still ahead.

Please join me in turning fear into hope for every family, no matter what day of the journey they are on!
