I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team JJ

I remember how difficult it was to shave JJ’s head when his hair began falling out from cancer treatment. It was one of those moments no parent ever forgets. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been blessed to meet so many incredible boys and girls who have faced that same heartbreaking moment—losing their hair without ever having a choice.

To honor those warriors, I grow my hair out one month for every year JJ has been cancer-free. This year, I’ll be shaving off ten months of hair, a milestone that represents more than ten years since our son finished treatment and became cancer-free. We are incredibly grateful, deeply blessed, and committed to paying that blessing forward.

I choose to endure a brief moment of discomfort to shine a light on the amazing children who don’t have that choice and who fight with incredible courage every single day.

For the 10th year in a row, I am honored to serve as Captain of Team JJ and shave my head to raise money for St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Every donation helps fund lifesaving childhood cancer research and brings hope to families still in the middle of their fight.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Team JJ over the years. Your generosity has helped make a difference, and together we can continue giving hope to children who need it most.
