I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi everyone

This year I’m participating in St. Baldrick’s and shaving my head to help raise money for childhood cancer research. As someone who teaches and works with kids at my church, this cause is incredibly close to my heart. Being around children every week reminds me how joyful, loving, and full of life they are. Kids deserve to spend their days laughing, learning, and growing in their faith — not fighting cancer.

This is also personal to me because my aunt is currently battling  cancer. Watching someone you love go through something so difficult changes the way you see life and reminds you how important support, hope, and research truly are.

Hair grows back, but for so many families, the fight against cancer is something they live with every single day. If shaving my head can help raise awareness, support research, and make even the smallest difference for a child or family, then it’s completely worth it to me.

Anything helps, and even sharing this means so much. Thank you for supporting me and this amazing cause
