I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

Its been over 10 years since I lost a good friend, Laura, to a childhood bone cancer that progressed into her adulthood after a late diagnosis. Last year, I lost one of my best friends, Braeden, from melanoma, leaving behind a sweet, loving family.

The loss can never be truly healed, but we are not hopeless in the face of such tragedies. Progress is being made across a variety of cancer treatments, and every small (or large!) donation can make a difference for the next friend, the next child that is diagnosed with cancer.

As Nikki and I have formed relationships with more parents in our kids' friend groups, we've encountered a few kids that have been diagnosed with cancer. Luckily, the ones we know have benefited from the latest research and treatments options. Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Help me honor the memory of Braeden and Laura as I shave my head in solidarity with cancer patients. Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
