I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!

Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.

Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

I am not only doing this for the THOUSANDS of kids that suffer from childhood cancer, but for someone in particular. Abby Ramsey was one of my childhood friends. Me and her brother did Boy Scouts together and she was always hanging out with my sister. 2 years ago she got diagnosed with leukemia, and March 6th 2026, she lost her battle. Any amount matters, lets help a great cause.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
