I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Aon

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Aon

As all of you know, this time of year is very special to the Duncan Clan as our excitement (and our hair!) grows each day in anticipation of that amazing day when the shaver touches our heads and we become Bald again!!! We will once again be partnering with our favorite local establishment, McHugh’s in Savage, to celebrate this heartwarming event together with our loved ones. We are very hopeful that many of you can come watch in person, but don’t worry if you are not able to join as we will send the after photos to ensure you can see the warmth and love of the group.

As many of you have been donating since my first event, it is truly amazing to see this organization really start to hit its stride with some concrete examples of how your money is making real differences in the lives of children with cancer across the globe! To help celebrate these special haircuts, we have once again secured matching funds from an anonymous donor who has agreed to do a dollar for dollar match of up to $5,000 for each team member across The Duncan Clan (We are still looking for new team members, please let me know if you want to join the Clan in 2026)! With that amazing news, all that is left to be done is to raise some money and get a wee bit taken off the top! With our bald heads, we stand in solidarity with kids being treated for cancer. But that’s not the main reason - most importantly - we are doing this to raise money for life-saving research that is truly having an impact!!!

The group is super excited to celebrate all the great things St. Baldrick’s has been able to do in the world of childhood cancer research based on the very generous donations from people like you. Due to the amazing support everyone offered up last year, our event raised over $237K! In addition, over the last 12 years of Aon Baldrick’s events, we have raised over $1.58M! We understand that there are many good causes out there competing for your donations, so we want to say THANK YOU for whatever size of donation you can contribute to this amazing cause!

You can count on this donation being used responsibly. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Your support makes you an important part of the world’s largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants. The St. Baldrick’s has funded more than $369 million in research thru 1,937 grants in 32 Countries!

If you would like to join us in the fun and participate in AON’s 13th St. Baldrick’s event, we will be doing it at 12:30 pm on Saturday March 14th at McHugh’s.

On behalf of thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting cancer, thank you for giving hope.

Sincerely,

The Duncan Clan
