I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LHS Cardinals 26

Why am I shaving my head and why should you care?

Is it because I'm tired of people asking, "How do you see with your hair in your eyes like that?" No. I can't see, but that's beside the point.

Is it because I want to save time by skipping my daily shampoo, conditioner, hair oil treatment, aromatherapy and blow dry sesh? No. This is what separates us from animals.

Is it because my mom keeps offering to cut my hair? Well, kinda. That woman can't cut spaghetti straight.

The real reason?

1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer im the U.S. won't survive. For those who do, 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.

I can't not see that, no matter how much hair is in my face. So I'm participating in an annual challenge that started among friends 25 years ago and going bald for St. Baldrick's Foundation, the country's largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Will you join me? You can sign up to shave your head, too, and raise awareness. Or, you can sponsor me to shave mine. Every dollar you give goes toward helping kids who don't get to choose when they lose their hair.

I promise post-shave photos. I charge extra if you want them signed.

Thanks for your support and opening your eyes to this worthy cause!
