Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
This year, I’m taking part in a powerful challenge that began 25 years ago and has grown into the largest volunteer movement dedicated to conquering kids’ cancer. I’ll be shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Childhood cancer is something no family should have to face. Yet in the United States, 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer will not survive. And for many of those who do, more than 96% will face severe or life-threatening health conditions by the time they turn 50.
This cause is deeply personal for me. My wife works at a camp that serves children with cancer, and I’m fortunate enough to volunteer there as well. Being part of that community—and seeing the courage and resilience of these kids firsthand—has made a lasting impact on me.
These children face challenges most of us can’t even imagine, yet they show incredible strength every single day. That’s why I’m proud to shave my head and stand with them.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund lifesaving research and gives kids with cancer a better chance at the long, healthy lives they deserve.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation to support this mission. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
Thank you for helping give kids with cancer hope!
