I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

I like the idea that I can help people with something this easy. I think it's just that simple. What's one afternoon of volunteer work and a few months of hair growth compared to children and those families of kids given a bad roll of the dice?

I have a little nephew-of-the-heart named Carter Connealy, and if he were ever in a similar position, I'd move every mountains to help. I know there's millions of people facing that exact situation, just trying to move their mountains. Why wouldn't I help by carrying some stones along the way?

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Event Support Volunteer
