So… why am I shaving my head?
My boys have stepped up for this challenge multiple times over the years. And every single year, my friend Don Ferris shows up and inspires me with his steady, unwavering support for St. Baldrick’s. I’ve watched. I’ve cheered. I’ve donated.
This year, I’m done watching.
This is the year I take action.
If you know me, you know this is a serious head of hair. And if shaving it can help raise awareness and real dollars for childhood cancer research, then let’s put it to good use.
Here’s the hard truth. One in five kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive. And even for the ones who do, the long-term effects are often devastating. That’s not acceptable.
What started 25 years ago as a challenge among friends has become the largest volunteer movement funding childhood cancer research. And now I’m stepping into it.
Every shaved head sends a message. Every donation fuels research. Every dollar moves us closer to better treatments and better outcomes for kids who deserve long, full lives.
If you’ve ever wanted a reason to support something that truly matters, this is it.
Help me turn this hair into hope.
Let’s do this.
