I am helping to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Joey Lopez Egan

My family and myself have been great supporters of the efforts of the St. Baldrick Foundation ever since our son Joey became our angel back in 2008. The love and support we have received over the years has been tremendous, and the work of the St. Baldrick organization to help put an end to pediatric cancer has been nothing short of inspirational.

Joey has been an honored child over these many years, and to be able to remember his legacy along with those who are also honored is heartwarming. Not a day goes by that I don't think about smile, his playful attitude and his love of all things SpongeBob and Legos. Just his being around you would brighten the darkest of days. And when cancer came, Joey fought it like a champ.

When we got involved with St. Baldrick's we were welcomed with open arms into a community who has a kinship with one another. The shared stories of each family's ordeals helped to not only provide comfort to what everyone was experiencing, but a strong determination to do whatever can be done to end this disease.

To all who have donated over the years I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of your generosity and kindness in supporting this cause. It truly means a great deal to me and all the families who are trying to help fund the research that will one day put this disease in the rear-view mirror.

I thank you for you for your help and consideration as continue "till there's a cure"!
