I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Been There, Done That

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

Two years ago on March 18th my mom noticed a lump on her chest the size of a pea.  I told her, "I don't want to mess around when it comes to lumps on the chest."  Several doctors visits, imaging and a month later, the lump was the size of a baseball and we had confirmation it was cancer.  On May 15th two years ago this year she started her treatments.

I am shaving my head to honor all the strength and courage my mom had through her treatments.  She is still with us today because of the research and amazing doctors, nurses etc. she encountered during her journey.

I want to make sure children can be as well supported through their journey as I was through my mom's journey.

Thank you for your support!
