I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

In 2023 I met a young Greek boy named Leo (Leonidas), who had been diagnosed with Stage IV Burkitt's Lymphoma...like his namesake, the great Spartan leader, Leonidas went into battle against this terrible foe...and after spending over 6 months at Lurie Children's Hospital in downtown Chicago, receiving multiple rounds of aggressive high-dose chemotherapy...he returned home "victorious", having defeated this deadly foe...I recently had an opportunity to reconnect with Leo and his mother, on the phone...and I am happy to report that he is still in remission...but there are others that are not so fortunate, so St. Baldrick's continues its research...now, I ask you to search your heart and ask yourself, "what better way can I help support St. Baldrick's research?"...then click the DONATE button and make a donation to help these kids...both Leo and I thank you for your generosity...til next time!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
