I am helping to raise money for childhood cancer research

Wayne Chapman passed away April 2, 2026.  He had requested that memorial gifts be made to the St. Baldrick's Foundation, in lieu of flowers.  Your gift will honor his memory and continue his legacy of raising funds to find cures for childhood cancers.

At age 93, Wayne had shaved annually for 17 years, personally raising more than $123,000.  The events he and his friends organized have raised hundreds of thousands -- and most importantly, there are children and teens alive today because of the research this helped make possible.

His participation in St. Baldrick's was one of the things he was most proud of having done, in a long and well-lived life.

Wayne's family appreciates everyone's prayers and good wishes.  The funeral will be held Saturday, April 18th, and his obituary can be found here:
