Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
This year, I decided to do something a little bold (and very bald) to help raise money for childhood cancer research. I’m joining thousands of others through St. Baldrick’s to stand with kids and families facing something no one should ever have to face.
Childhood cancer doesn’t get enough attention or funding, yet it’s the leading cause of death by disease for kids in the U.S. Too many children are fighting for their lives, and too many families are living in uncertainty, fear, and heartbreak.
Shaving my head is a small, temporary sacrifice. But what these kids endure is anything but temporary. If going bald helps raise awareness, funding, and hope, it’s absolutely worth it.
Every dollar donated goes toward lifesaving research, better treatments, and brighter futures for kids with cancer, funded through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation - the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Together, we can help give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for supporting this cause, cheering me on, and helping make a real difference.
