I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Aaron

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Aaron

“There’s a large tumor on your son’s spine.” Words no mother or father should ever have to hear. Those are the words my wife Beth and I heard 14 years ago. We got lucky. If you can call your young son battling stage 4 Ewing’s sarcoma lucky. Aaron is a survivor though, even if cancer treatment has had lifelong effects that we continuously deal with.

Today, Aaron is a pre-med student at the University of Florida. Other children and parents are not so lucky. All kids should have a chance to live their dreams, to live their lives.

Did you know that cancer is the number one disease killer of kids?

I’m raising funds with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation – the #1 charity funder of childhood cancer research grants – to support research that finds cures and safer treatments for all childhood cancers, providing hope for children and families facing this fight.

Your donation can help ensure the coming years bring hope, progress, and cures. Together, we speed up the progress of saving the lives of these brave children.

Thank you for your donation!
