I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Inspired by a friend shaving her head to benefit the St. Baldricks Foundation, I started Shaves & Pints with some close friends in 2018. It was a way for some of the regulars at the Crown & Anchor English Pub to do some good and give back.

The Shaves & Pints team members all parents who understand that kids growing up have enough challenges without cancer adding to their burden. Kids should just be able to enjoy childhood and we thought that if we could contribute to finding the cure, then we should put everything we had into our Algiers Point event.

This will be my fourth time shaving my head and I hope you'll join me by donating and attending Shaves & Pints 2026 on March 29th.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!

My Roles:

  • Shavee
