I’m raising funds with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to support lifesaving research focused on safer treatments, long-term survivorship, and cures for childhood cancers. Childhood cancer remains the #1 disease-related cause of death among children, making it a critical public health issue that demands sustained research investment and community action.
St. Baldrick’s addresses this challenge by funding high-impact pediatric cancer research, strengthening the pipeline of scientists dedicated to childhood cancer, and accelerating progress toward equitable outcomes for children and families nationwide. In its 25th year, the Foundation continues to lead as the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants.
I’m combining advocacy, fundraising, and community engagement by raising money as I train for the Governor’s Cup Half Marathon, while also supporting Alpha Kappa Psi’s Spring St. Baldrick’s fundraising event. Running has always been a personal passion, and I’m using it as a platform for public health advocacy- dedicating each mile to increasing awareness, mobilizing resources, and advancing research that improves survival and quality of life for children with cancer.
Every donation contributes to evidence-based research, prevention of treatment-related harm, and long-term health outcomes for pediatric patients. Together, we can help ensure that the next generation of children faces a future defined by better treatments, greater equity, and more cures.
Thank you for supporting this mission and for helping turn community action into lasting public health impact.
